Fishermen's Point Fishing Shacks
In 2022, our friends at SMRT Architects & Engineers in Portland volunteered their time and expertise to help document the last remaining fishing shacks at Fishermen's Point. The initial goal of the project was to create a set of architectural drawings which could be used by our community to rebuild either or both of the fishing shacks, should they be lost in a storm. Those drawings are now complete and housed at the South Portland Historical Society.
SMRT took the project a step further by also photographing all aspects of the fishing shacks inside and creating a 3D image that allows the viewer to explore the interior of each shack.
To explore the 360-degree views, follow these links:

The Cobb/Bolton shack (this shack has the appearance of two shacks, but they are actually connected) - https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=7pvBf8Qa3m5
Thanks again to SMRT Architects & Engineers for their help with this project!
