Fishermen's Point Fishing Shacks
In 2022, our friends at SMRT Architects and Engineers in Portland volunteered their time and expertise to help document the last remaining fishing shacks at Fishermen's Point. The initial goal of the project was to create a set of architectural drawings which could be used by our community to rebuild either or both of the fishing shacks, should they be lost in a storm. Those drawings are now complete and housed at the South Portland Historical Society.
SMRT took the project a step further by also photographing all aspects of the fishing shacks inside and creating a 3D image that allows the viewer to explore the interior of each shack.

Thanks again to SMRT Architects and Engineers for their help with this project!
